Beeswarm on Public Health data

The District Team project seeks to gather Public Health data at the level of health districts in Guinea and Benin. They regularly ask me to visualize their data and publish the results on their websites (one for Guinea, and one for Benin).

For some of the visualizations I made I chose to use beeswarm plots as a basis. You can see two examples below.

This chart shows individual health districts grouped based on their access to reliable means of communication. The fill color indicates what type of agenda they use.
Individual cases for 4 diseases over a period of a couple of months are shown here. The red dots indicate patients who died from the disease. The bars near the top show the lethality rate.
